Crochet Hat Pattern for Little Girls and their Dolls

For some time now several people have asked me to come up with a pattern for matching hats for their daughters and their American Girl Dolls.  I designed this one to fit little girls 3years and older and 18 inch dolls (or BEARS).
Here it is ! I finally finished it.

Basic Skills Necessary:

• Working in the round, single crochet, double crochet

Pattern Description:

Cute Matching Hats for your little girl and her special doll (or stuffed animal )
Doll hat fits American Girl, Our Generation and most other 18" dolls
Hat will fit Toddlers and up
Easy to follow written instructions.

Use any #4 worsted weight yarn

Gauge:

3 rounds in dc = 2 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

• Child and 18 inch Dolls or Stuffed Animals
• will fit American Girl Dolls, Our Generation Dolls and most other 18 inch Dolls or Stuffed Animals

Materials:

• 4 to 6 oz of #4 Worsted Weight Yarn Size G Crochet Hook Tapestry Needle for weaving in loose ends

Suggested yarn:

4 ounces of Worsted weight
